Hijas De Muhlach started to mix the finest ingredients with lots of love to bake the Spanish ensaïmada.

Our ancestors made great strides in baking innovation in Northern Spain. Hijas De Muhlach was the first bakery in the region to use the gas oven in baking their delicious pastries.

From Spain, the Muhlach family migrated to the Philippines, eventually building roots in the country.

Inspired by our ancestors, we started baking what has come to be known as our beloved, homemade ensaymadas under the banner of Supermelt, with family and friends as the first to enjoy them.

During the same year, we opened our very first store in SM North EDSA.

Our family began to grow as we continued to offer our comforting ensaymadas to more and more Filipino households.

Just as our humble passion developed into a thriving operation, we rebranded into Megamelt Bakeshop.
